After moving from New York to Dubai in 2018, Jessica Usenbor discovered a gap in product diversification and knowledge for the melanated skin + textured hair care community. Longing for inclusivity in the beauty industry, and access to quality beauty products, Jessica Usenbor got to work on a solution. Incorporating her lived experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and over a decade of experience in marketing, she conceptualized and developed THEKÜR. A technology-led beauty destination offering inclusive skin, hair, and body care products in the Middle East.
